ENGINEERED HARDWOOD

pravada.jpg

Engineered Hardwood Flooring is real Hardwood - The term "engineered" refers to it's unique construction. Unlike solid Hardwood, Engineered Hardwood is made of several layers. The top surface (what you see when installed) is a layer of your desired wood choice, such as oak. The bottom substrate layer (what you don't see when installed) is made of fast growing, sustainable wood pieces such as spruce or birch. When installed properly, an Engineered Floor is virtually indistinguishable from a solid floor, and provides more solid construction. As well, Engineered Floors use half as many trees as Solid Hardwood Floors, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of Hardwood, in a more environmentally friendly way.
